Just got everything today (tank, soil and filter were in like for 2 months and I had biomedia from my other tank) and 1. My tank is looking so bOrInGgGgGgGgGgG 2. My shrimp just molded and I've put the shrimp in like 2 hours ago. Is this normal? Is he stressed out?

Hi guy i actualy planning to get an another shrimp tank. I have already 2 tank of them with taiwan bee/taitibee on active soil. So i plane to make a tank a tank with normal soil and tap water. So what tipe of shrimp do you advise me? (My tap water have 4 gh, 7kh, 7ph)should i go with tiger or neocaridina ? What color to choose?

I was planning on setting up a 2 .5 gallon tank ... I have sand and samurai soil ... neither of which do I have experience with can I use both in different sections.or should I just use one or the other ...

Need recommendations for shrimp catching net

I need a net to catch my shrimp, and I've been looking on Amazon for a really fine mesh net. They all seem to be connected to a metal telescoping handle, which according to the reviews seems to rust. Can anyone recommend me a good shrimp catching net that's not going to rust and last a while?

How do you get enough calcium for your shrimp

I am fairly new to shrimping but am finding that after a few months my shrimp die off. They are in a 5 gallon planted tank with no other fish, just 2 nerve snails. I feel that it might be due to lack of calcium in the water so was wondering what everyone does to help solve this.

I heard that Cherry Shrimp are easy shrimp to take care of. I have done a lot of research, but I just cannot find a good cycling tutorial! Help! And, I have a filter, but it is not a sponge filter. Is it still okay to use?
