- when you want to plant something but you have duckweed
- My latest no filter, no heater, no ferts, no co2 tank.
- Path through mossy valley with quartz
- The boys are loving their new 20g home!
- Pearlin Pearl Weed
- Why is your plant sad?
- Maintenance Sundays! ✂️
- Status update: Platty had 4 babies!
- Anyone knows the name of this red plant? Thanks
- Day 1 - 5.5gal. No equipment at the moment. Just getting the scape and minimal planting. Will probably just leave the plants as they are. Back n forth on adding reineckii. After I get equipment and cycle it will be a home for some fancy tail guppies and snails. Perhaps shrimp.
- Fts featuring question in comments.
- My 46g and 20g planted tanks. Only liquid fertilizers so far.
- Ranger out on patrol. First time seeing him after being home for a week. Sassy little guy
- What type of low light floating plant could survive the condensation in a fluval edge? I have frogbit in my open tank but I don’t think it would like this setup at all.
- Low tech 20gal with old fashion aquarium light bulbs for light, is $20 in shipping worth it? just wondering if getting plants from buce is worth paying that much in shipping. If it is I’ll add a dwarf sword or hairgrass also
- Fairly new 10 gallon freshwater tank, we’re having a hard time with excess algae and there’s something growing on the java fern. Any idea what it could be and how to fix it? Thanks guys
- I picked up a couple pieces of interesting looking drift wood. Any ideas on how to scape around them? I've never done a planted tank and I am open to anything. (55 gallon)
- RCS shrimplets have arrived after 2 weeks of RCS in the tank. That thing is impossibly small and seen far better by my phone lens than my eyes.
- Brownie Phantom Buce! My first Buce
- Wanting to get started
- Does a 10 gallon shrimp tank need a filter if I plant it heavily enough?
- Advice on CO2 regulator and solenoid?
- What happened to my fairly new java fern? I have a hole in this and my other plant. My rocks are having some discoloration too. Otherwise, my beta seems fine. I took the plant out, not planning to put it back in.

Posted: 28 Apr 2019 10:36 PM PDT Hello everyone! I would like some advice (or a point in the right direction) to help cultivate my own "plant tank". I don't have anything to get started so I was hoping that someone could give me a bit advice as to where a good place to start would be. There is a nice pet store in my area that sells many different things to start but I would like to go in with a bit more knowledge before committing to something that will be too much for me. If you have any resources you like to use, please leave them in the comments! Your help is very much appreciated! [link] [comments] | ||
