Fluval Spec V replacement pump?

Posted: 11 Apr 2019 12:07 AM PDT

What would be a good replacement pump for a Spec V (new version) My tank isn't getting good water circulation and it's leaving my plants looking nasty with all the debris build up.

I feel the current pump isn't that good, but maybe I got a faulty one.

Showing off my tank after a trim

I posted here about a week and a half ago with the beginnings of my first planted tank... Well I tore that whole tank apart and restarted, here’s the finished product so far! I’m pretty happy with it :)

I took out all the fake plants today and added more Java Fern. I got glue all over my fingers and almost glued 2 together. So I decided to leave the rest of the Java Fern in the glass jar until I can grab some driftwood to attach them to.

Anubias Help!

Posted: 11 Apr 2019 01:07 AM PDT

Hey everyone, I have a couple of small Anubias (nana I think) in a small bowl. There is substrate (looks just like fluvial stratum) but the plants themselves are attached to a piece of spider wood. I forgot that they like it shady, so I left it under an LED for a day, and when I came back, it started looking different. The leaves are sort of turning pale whitish, and at first I thought there was a coat of bubble on the leaves, but nothing came off when I rubbed them. A few of the older leaves have slightly transparent edges too. I am currently not dozing ferts, but I have some seachem flourish coming in on Friday. My question is wether it sounds like a nutrient deficiency, a lighting issue, or just a new plant acclimating. I'll try to get a picture tomorrow if it helps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
