Posted: 20 Apr 2019 03:53 PM PDT I was watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNdPo6AtxnU He says certain substrates break down and have to be removed and replaced? That sounds like a huge pain in the ass. I have a planted tank, but I'm really new at it and I've just got plants in regular old gravel. They're doing well, but I don't have anything too complicated. But I'm building a larger tank and I want to do it really right this time, so I'm researching substrates. So what happens when a substrate "breaks down"??? Does it start clouding up the tank or something? [link] [comments]

Posted: 20 Apr 2019 07:41 PM PDT I have a 90 gallon tank that I've been running 2 Giesemann bulbs over and the fixture just went out. I was thinking of switching to this LED setup. Does anyone have any experience with the fixture? Will it have enough PAR juice for a 90 gallon? [link] [comments]
