| Continue to cycle or add shrimp? Posted: 24 Apr 2019 10:07 AM PDT Set up a 2 gallon jarrarium last week, I have about 2-4ppm ammonia, zero nitrite/nitrate, and the pH is 6.4. Would love to add a few red cherries and a few snails, mainly because I'm already getting some heavy algae and I think biofilm...are shrimp too sensitive to add at this point and should I wait until ammonia is close to zero or can they handle that amount? I'm already reducing how many hours of light I'm putting on the jar, because of the algae but I'd prefer to not have to and get some animals. Thanks folks. [link] [comments]  | ||

Choosing a glass vase...are clear/ non colored vases the best option ( this is a silly question🙈)? I would be glad to hear about your experiences/opinions. [link] [comments]  |
