Can you guys please tell me what the fuzzy white spot is? The spot doesn’t look like they’re ich. I have been treating him with ich-x regardless for the past 5 days. No progress on it. Could it be fungus? Spot seem to be the same for the past week and has not spread anywhere else. Please help!

2 Large Ranchus in a 29G tank

Looking for a bit of advice on how to care for these two ranchus that I just took in from a family member who can't care for them anymore. They were kept in a 20G long tank and they seem to be pretty healthy for the most part.

After accepting them, I went out to my LFS and grabbed what I could. I picked up a Aquaclear 70, a heater, a bottle of tetra safe start, and prime conditioner. What else should I grab?

I've already added the tetra safe start to the tank, and i'm letting it sit with the filter running for a little while before I add the fish in to the tank.

I know 29G is still pretty small, but it was the biggest tank I could fit into my car. I plan on upgrading to a 40B when the DPG sale goes on at petco.

Since my tank is brand new and not cycled yet, how often should I do water changes to make sure these guys are comfortable? I'm not totally foreign to caring for goldfish, but it's definitely been a while. If i'm missing something, let me know and i'll do what i can!

Looking at getting some fat fish kids. LFS never has any pearlscales or larger orandas. Has anyone bought from either shop? How did you like them?

Easiest Goldfish to take care of?

My goldfish Ripper (a name more fitting for an aggressive pitbull than a goldfish) recently passed away at 6 years old. I have a 29 gallon tank with gravel, some fake plants, and everything ready for a fish set up. I'm looking for a breed of goldfish that is for beginners and is relatively low-maintenance. Which goldfish breed would be the easiest to raise?
