- Donkey, my Bubble Eye Goldfish! This is from the day I got him, which is my best photo because he never stops moving! I got the best photo of him while he was adjusting to his new home. He is moving to a 40 gallon tank as soon as my lease is up and I have more space. ❤️❤️❤️

When people don’t understand goldfishes Posted: 09 Apr 2019 06:17 PM PDT I'm a new goldfish owner. I'm proud to say there super healthy with a happy home. I had them since January. It brothers me whenever makes fun of me and my goldfishes. She makes fun of me cuz I fell in love for my goldfishes. it's true I did fall for them. lol She tells me to kill them already and there a waste of money. I don't care what she says I'm gonna provide the best life to my fishes until they die. They might not be normal house pets like dogs or cats but their still pets to me. I just wanted to get that off my chest haha who else has annoying people in their lives that doesn't understand goldfishes? [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Apr 2019 07:33 PM PDT I have a 55g with a fancy fantail goldfish, a male guppy, a bristlenose pleco, and snail. I want to get the opposite sex when I get a buddy for my goldfish. Problem is, I'm not sure what mine is and I'm trying to keep a fairly sparse tank but also give some friends. If I go to my fish store place and they can give me a definite (or close to definite) girl/boy pair, would 3 fancy fantail goldfish be too much for them to have plenty of space each in a 55g? http://i.imgur.com/hQJUdiQ.jpg ^ This is his tank after I changed the media and decor to give better swim room and less chance of choking. Random discussion about pearlscales and my irrational fear. Posted: 09 Apr 2019 07:35 AM PDT This might be an unpopular opinion, (pls don't downvote lol) but pearlscales freak me out? They are cute and all, and as a goldie owner I really want to love them too... but they scare me! How do you know if they are o verweight or if they have d ropsy? I would deffinetly consider owning them if I could get over my irrational fear I have of owning them and not being able to tell if they are u nhealthy. What are your thoughts on this? Am I the only one that feels this way? Or might you be able to help me battle this random fear? Also feel free to share pics of your pearlscales and show me how cute if you wanna help me love the little guys too! Haha Thanks r / goldfish! Posted: 09 Apr 2019 09:10 AM PDT I mean I've heard that goldfish are very hardy fish, but they seem to have problems. Especially the fancy goldfish variety. I really want to do some goldfish but I'm not trying to have headaches if something goes wrong. I have a 40 gallon tank which from what I've read will house two fancy goldfish or a single slim body goldfish relatively comfortably (I've changed my mind a hundred times. But I think I've narrowed it down to either two oranda/ranchu or a single shubunkin goldfish.). So what's the verdict of this Sub-Reddit are goldfish hardy? [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Apr 2019 07:05 AM PDT Currently, I have orandas and ranchus in my tank and I am thinking of adding a different variation. Would it be better to add a pearlscale or a ryukin? Personally, I find pearlscale more cute but I am scared of it being outcompeted by the other "faster" fish. So would it be wiser to get a ryukin? [link] [comments] |
