• I work part time at a pet store, say hello to Poseidon.
• Not mine, but a coworkers desk dumbo betta. Gorgeous purple color!
• After probably way too long I finally deep cleaned this guys tank.
• It was a big day in my betta world. I managed my first successful spawn and picked up this Hellboy that I hope will become even more rad with age (currently 2.5 months)
• Its hard to get the camera to focus on a black fish.
• You were expecting another fish, but it was me, Ginyu!
• So shiny!
• Orion: Day 0 vs Day 8
• Transformation Tuesday: the silver and a little iridescent girl I picked up in January vs the pink and turquoise lady I have now. Can’t wait to see if her color changes further.
• A wild bettas bubble nest amogst leaf litter and plants on the edge of the pond. During spawning these fish go to the shallows away from the predators where its secluded where water is only 2-3 inches deep. The male will guard the fry for the next week untill they can fully survive on their own.
• Day 1 on a new 12 Gallon Long
• He is just adorable.
• Limmy is much more calm and happy in his new blackwater setup.
• Meet Eros, who finally has a name after three days of searching! He fits it well.
• I love mornings like this, when morning sunlight hits Qwerty's tank for about 15 minutes
• Holy fins!
• Got him 2 days ago. His name is Betty White Jr. For obvious pun reasons.
• Marmalade Doesn't Appreciate The Camera
• 6 weeks + 4 days: brighter colours, bigger fins, bigger attitudes
• He is growing so fast
• Well I moved this plant into this guys tank hopefully the lighting is better for it. Also hoping it gets bigger!
• Finn is basically posing for the camera these days
• I’m not sure why Sushi is fin biting! Details in comments.
• Does anyone else’s betta never flare? My Cosmo doesn’t ever seem to get angry; he just seems to get scared, if anything.
