Question about Betta tank mates

I have a crown tail Betta in a 10g tank. He has been with 2 ghost shrimp for over a month and is doing well. No aggression at all toward the shrimp. I added 4 Dalmatian platys or mollies (sorry they look so much alike to me) and I am looking for some advise. Before the new additions the Betta always looked so bored. Didn't do much. Just kind of "was." He is so much more active now, explores more, hunts for the grindal worms that were missed at the last feeding time, and all around is just more active. But....he chases the platys a little bit while flaring. He never makes contact. There is no nipping of fins. There are plenty of sight blockers, plants, and hiding spots for everyone. The Betta doesn't chase all the time and there are times he is right next to the platys and ignores them. The Platys don't look/act miserable. I know all Bettas are different and some are ok with tank mates and some aren't. It has only been 3 days. Should I give it more time for my Betta to adjust or should I put the platys in a different tank? I would hate for the Betta to go back to being a boring fish in the same spot all day, but I don't want him unhappy either. Any advise is appreciated.
