- Wabikusa using SA Ball
- Home built aquarium, built specifically for an IKEA kallax unit I had. Scaped and planted, even went for an attempt at a tree. Just waiting for the planting to fill out.
- Every morning find my bamboo shrimp sitting on top of the salvinia with his fans and face in the water.
- My fluval flex after a year and a half. What should I do next? Itching to re-scape!
- 1 month of growth on my low tech 36 gal bow

- I miss this cave setup
- I'm in love with my Rotala Wallichii pink tip.
- 10 days into my rescape. How long should I wait to add shrimp?
- My daughter’s snail/shrimp tank and my 10gallon with shrimp, snails and Celestial Pearl Danios. There had to be two tanks to keep the fluorescent stuff out of mine.

- Found an awesome deal for a 24” planted plus 24/7 light...only problem was it wouldn’t fit the span of my 40 breeder so I had to improvise

Advice for planting a Top Fin bettaflo Soothe Posted: 08 Mar 2019 01:05 AM PST Hey guys, I could use some advice on how to plant the Top Fin bettaflo Soothe (link to tank below) So I found this little tank out by the dumpster in my apartment complex and brought it home to see if I could turn it into a planted vase, but it turns out that the tank itself is in perfect condition, so I am just going to use it as is. Hopefully, if it turns out well I can use it for holding my baby endler fry until they get big enough not to be eaten by their own mothers. It does have an odd sort of under gravel filter system so I was hoping for a little guidance on how to plant it, or if I should plant it while using the filter at all. First, I have two different types of substrate available right now, normal gravel rock that I could possibly put root tabs in, or fluval stratum which I am slightly worried might end up going through the plate in the bottom or not allowing any waterflow at all. I am also worried about how the plant roots will be affected by the bottom plate. Will they clog it up? Are there certain plants that would do better in an odd little tank like this? I have a rather disgusting amount of guppy grass that I could plant in there as well as some dwarf val. I am still really new to plants so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you for your time and any advice you might have. [link] [comments] |
