- My gang! When I go out to stores I tend to fall in love with goldfish that people don’t like, either they have a bent fin or don’t look as pretty as other but I get them and make a forever home for them! They all started an inch or 2 and blossomed

Posted: 30 Mar 2019 08:24 PM PDT I'm looking forward to getting a goldfish in the near future or on my birthday, and I'm wondering what kind of tank/bowl is okay to keep it in? Is a regular globe/bubble goldfish bowl okay or are those harmful? [link] [comments]

Amazon Swords, Anubias in sand. Posted: 30 Mar 2019 12:50 PM PDT Hi Guys, I bought some plants two weeks ago and looks like I didn't do enough research(feel like that should be the motto of the sub). My goldfish haven't been eating them but it looks like my plants are dying. I'm guessing this is due to no root tabs/fertilizer? Or even CO2. Do I really need all these things? [link] [comments]

What GPH canister filter for 50 gallon? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 09:40 AM PDT Quick question! I've got a 50 gallon, looking to buy a new filter. Should I get a 370 or 525 GPH? Will the flow with the 525 be too strong? [link] [comments]
What Kind of Behavior is This? Posted: 30 Mar 2019 08:21 AM PDT http://imgur.com/gallery/ofP7wuw I added this a ranchu and butterfly to my 55gal not even 24 hours ago. I slept, and woke up to my ranchu chasing my oranda. It seems to basically stick itself up my orandas butt until she can get away, and even when she tries to run, he follows. The chu will also seem to 'peck' at her sides or fins until she jerks away. The oranda is older, I've had it for 6+ years. She's been with me through it all, so I want to give her the best life I can. The chu will also peck at the butterfly, but only a tiny bit, and it gets bored of that and swims off the find the oranda it seems. Is this normal behavior for a new fish? If it gets too bad, it's there a solution /suggestions on how to handle it? Tank info : PH: 7.4-7.6 Amonia :0 Nitrites :0 Nitrates:0 [link] [comments] |
