Im a total newbie to axolotls!! I've been researching them and have gotten a long 20gallon tank. I understand that they like cold water. If you could give me tips as to where to buy them, what filtration system is the best, or any advice I'd be greatful😃

I've had my axolotl named Fish for approximately 5 years and I can no longer afford to take care of him. I have a full setup of water cooler, 1 water pump and filter. My tank is only 30 gallons as I did not have space for a bigger tank.

As of the last 2 days, my water cooler died on me. The temperature is currently at 24C which I am aware is horrible. It sucks because I've already had to replace the power supply to the water cooler twice. I'm not even sure what is wrong with it at this point. The one year warranty passed 1 year ago.

If anyone in Toronto can pick him pick up, I'd really appreciate it. He hasn't been doing well lately because the closest pet smart from my area no longer sells wrigglers. He hasn't had his toes for a couple of years because of water issues. Maybe I'm just a bad pet owner but at the very least I just want him to have a better home.

I'll list all the stuff that I can provide if someone contacts me for pick up.

Does anyone else get pretty cloudy looking water within days off water changes? Is this a filter issue causing excess debris or is it typical?
