Alright, so no matter what I do my frogbit ALWAYS DIES. Which I've seen a few people complain about. So I was wondering if there was another floating plant that would work like frogbit but not die as easily. (I thought frogbit was supposed to live forever!) I don't have substrate so I'm not sure how I would get normal plants, though if anyone has suggestions I would appreciate it, I would love to have some more plants in my tank.

I plan on keeping 3 axies in a 75 gal and was wondering how to do water changes. I would do 50%. I would then have to wait 24 hours for the water to be safe. Where do I keep the axies during this time?

So I REALLY want an axolotl but I don't know what water or correct filter to use. I want my axolotl to have a great tank with lots to play and move around. I'm concerned if the correct water and a type of filter that's not strong. Pls help a fellow 12 yr old. (Yea I forgot to mention I'm 12 but I'm not cringy so I don't like Fortnite cause that's game bad and this is unnecessary so just pls help me)

Moss

Hi there!

Planning to build a tank for my first axolotl and was wondering if having a bed of moss would be fine for the bottom of the tank? i was just gonna do big rocks but wouldn't mind some green in the tank. would this work? does anyone have experience with this substrate?

New owner needs help

Hello friendly people, I was browsing Kijiji the other day just looking at stuff and found my new little guy Zottie, I was looking into getting an axolotl before but never got the opportunity and only picked him up because they were planning to kill him had no one taken him by that night :( his tank if insanely cloudy (the glass not the water) and I don't know how to clean that safely? Any other advise is welcome

Tank Size?

Hey all,

I was just given a 60 gallon tank and I was thinking about getting into the axolotl hobby. I know they need more floor space than height so I was just wondering if this tank is okay. The dimensions are ~13" wide by 4'
