Is there a way to tell if crayfish eggs are fertilized or not?

I'll try to keep this short.

I have a blue crayfish (definitely 100% blue - not marbled). She's been here about 12 weeks ago.

She moved into a 55 gallon tank (with only Tiger Barbs) about 3 weeks ago. She went into a nice little cave and didn't venture out much - very uncharacteristic of her as she's a more active cray; we recently found her with a tail full of eggs.

I'm not sure how long the eggs have been there, but I'm pretty sure at least a week or two based on her reclusive behavior.

She's back into her own tank just in case they're fertilized. Is this a wait it out situation or is there a way to know in advance if the eggs are fertilized? I ask because this species (North American) is known to hold onto sperm if they don't molt, and she has not molted a single time since I got her (which surprised me since she's not that big). They're the basic black-looking eggs.

She's a completely different crayfish right now (e.g. reclusive, uninterested in food, etc.) so I'm really hopeful she gets back to herself soon! At the same time, I need to prepare if she's been storing sperm for basically 10-11 weeks, so...

Any explanations for a crayfish baby sighting? Context inside

Posted: 03 Feb 2019 04:23 AM PST

So i just saw a crayfish about 3cm long walking around in my pond and it doesn't seem possible that it came from any of mine. I initially thought that it was a good explanation for why i haven't seen 2 of the 4 crayfish but from what i've read its a month for hatching and a bit more to get to that size.

could an egg or baby somehow have came in through my plants? none of the nurseries have had crayfish with the plants i bought.

kinda freakin out right now!

edit: the pond is barely a month old
