Male imbellis hybrid flaring. I give all my fish flare exercise daily to promote health, flaring circulates blood through the fish and its fins keeping them in good shape, usually do this 10-15 mins daily.

I was finally able to get a decent picture of my wild betta, Rhaegal! He’s not one of Frank’s but I think he’s still pretty cool.

Is this a bubble nest? My new betta was sold as a female, and was kept in a tank with many other supposed female bettas.

Is my female actually a male? I got this betta as a baby and it wad labeled a female but now its been some months and her fins are seem very big. Maybe is its because her body is small? Or could it be a male. Really hard to get a good picture of it but "her" fins can flare out even bigger.
