• Sorry for all the heart attacks I caused, but my tank is now on a properly balanced stand 👍👍
• One of my clowns fights the wavemaker nearly 24 * 7 is it normal behaviour?
• honestly probably the most interesting shrimp out there!

• Opinion on Nitrate & Phosphate Levels

• can anyone identify the brown mass on the bottom of my pulsing xenia it hasn’t opened up for a week or two
• So this is telling me to not add a bulkhead to this 70 gallon tank right?

• Dinos and GHA? no matter what I do, its been getting worse. Phosphate around 0.04. Been dosing neonitro to keep nitrates around 5-10ppm. 5day Blackout seemed to help until lights came back on. Ordered UV and poly filter arriving tomorrow.
• Why is my water so cloudy and foaming?
• Aquascape for My First Tank! After 3.5 hours, a lot of epoxy and a little too much glue inhaled, I’m pretty proud of the result :). Feel free to share any feedback or suggestions!
• could my sump idea work?
• what Autofeeder for the Fluval 52 should I buy, one to which I can either 3d print a form of attachment or come with it.
• Fluval 13.5 looking good about 5 months in, how do you guys feel about the coral skeletons as decorations , want to wait til I upgrade light before I get any real ones myself
• My new R(ainbow)BTA settling into his new home

Opinion on Nitrate & Phosphate Levels Posted: 13 Jun 2022 08:04 AM PDT Reef Masters, can I get an opinion on my current levels? Tank is 120 gals (30 gal sump), about 5 months old. I've had a problem keeping any of my fish alive the last few months (see previous long post in my history), currently have 2 alive for 2 months now. I do about a 15% water change weekly because I've been concerned about my nitrate and phosphate levels as the culprit of deaths (or just NTS). Any opinions? Salinity - 36 ORP - 329 PH - 8.1 Temp - 81-82 Ammonia - 0 Nitrite - 0 Nitrate - 20 ppm Phosphate - .5 ppm Magnesium - 1350 ppm Alkalinity - 7.7 dKH Calcium - >420 ppm (I have a calcium block in the sump, so it registered above the testing levels) submitted by /u/prestonwoolf [link] [comments]

Outside reef system Posted: 13 Jun 2022 12:29 PM PDT I am looking for a way to make my porch a little more interesting. Would it be possible to keep a reef tank outside on an enclosed porch? could my sump idea work? Posted: 13 Jun 2022 06:38 AM PDT So I currently have an oase biomaster 350 thermo canister filter on my freshwater but I'm switching to saltwater next week. If I put a sump below and fed the intake in my canister through the sump tank so it runs into the canister could i have a sump as well as my canister? Edit to specify: I would place a PVC pipe in the sump tank and connect it to the hose/pump on the canister to pull water from that and drain water from the main tank into that sump using the same system. submitted by /u/Sea_Charity_3927 [link] [comments]
