• Ludwigia sedoides, probably the most interesting and rarest? floating plant I've kept (though briefly, sadly). I would love to master it's care one day!

• Stoked about my FB Marketplace find… all sorts of great looking Java fern and frogbit for $20. It’s in the laundry room overnight until I can bring it to my office tank tomorrow… My battery pump is LOUD.

• I couldn’t find much info about growing Watermelon Peperomia emersed so I thought I’d try it… two months in, it’s putting out several new leaves and a huge amount of root growth. Highly recommend it for a little variety!

[help] Cycling with UNS Controsoil Posted: 14 Oct 2021 03:33 AM PDT Hi everyone, I set up a 10 gallon planted tank with UNS Controsoil (first time using active substrate) and it's been up for a week now. I'm just confused on if I should add additional ammonia supplements when using controsoil. My water parameters: Ammonia: 2.0 ppm Nitrite: 0 ppm Nitrate: 80 ppm Ph: 6.8-7.0 I planted heavy from the beginning. I have been doing water changes everyday for the first week and dosing fertilizer every other day or so.
