- Here’s a video of that amphipod
- Hi yall! Started this little tiny world 5 days ago (mushrooms, spread plant in the middle, very little moss + another tall plant off camera and 4 isopods) and i feel I've put too much water, the jar is always condensed and theres a bit of build up water on the false bottom, is it ok?
- All my isopods and microfauna died within 5 days of sealing

All my isopods and microfauna died within 5 days of sealing Posted: 18 Oct 2021 09:20 AM PDT All my microfauna died very quickly after I sealed the jar. It was a 0.5 gallon mason jar with a locking lid and and about 2 inches of dirt with lots of moss plants and a decaying peice of wood. I placed it in front of a window with the sun facing it (that's what I think killed them). There was condensation on the tank for a bit more then half of the day and food inside for them to eat (dead leaves and some mold that formed). This is my first sealed terrarium so I'm in the dark about what happened. Any advice? [link] [comments] |
