Why do all AIO tanks have the circulation/chaimber return pump in the top corner? Why not the bottom?

Recently put in a new (extra?) Power head in my biocube 32 I was sure surprised how much stuff started floating up from dead spots. I kind of want to install a second one now on the opposite side. Don't have any corals yet about 6 weeks into the hobby I did notice the 2 clowns have to swim it looks like harder to get around but I also felt they were out more often than usual and maybe having fun swimming around with the new flow?

Trying to figure out my iPhone 12 mini’s camera with the frag tank. System on a bounce back from stunting/killing my cycle after 1 year in (no deaths !!!) **ALWAYS CHECK FOR AMMONIA EVEN IF YOU HAVE ZERO LOW NITRATES.**

I'm about to tear down my old 17 gallon fresh water scape and plan on doing a Macro Algae tank and this will be my first attempt at salt water tanks (I have a lot of experience with fresh water tanks) I'm looking for best sand, live rock, ATO and macro algae species that YALL have had success with, thank you
