What in the world is wrong with my fish? I just changed his water last night because it had turned very cloudy overnight. Now he is twitching and has a weird film/spot on his eyes. I treated him with General Cure about 2 weeks ago & he was fine. Please help

Growing Out Tiny Goldfish.

I bought two tiny little guys at a pet shop yesterday. They're like maybe an inch or a little over an inch long with their tails. The general idea I'm getting based off research is a lot of protein & extra water changes.

They seem to eat sinking pellets fine, should I get some with higher protein content & up feeding? Maybe add some bloodworms? Any tips are appreciated. Thank you.

What store bought food do you recommend and why?

So as above, wondering what foods do people recommend. I've heard tetra and the usual petshop stuff isn't great. I don't use floating pellets, my fish prefer sinking.

Pothos in fishtank?

Hello, has anyone had any luck with placing a pothos in the fishtank to reduce ammonia? I've read that it can be beneficial to keeping ammonia levels down (you put the roots in the water and the rest of the plant is above water). I've got one black moor and he poops A LOT so it's a constant battle (and frequent water changes).

he's in a 30 gallon planted tank with two teeny one-inch feeder goldfish/weekly water changes (about to increase that to twice weekly)

Urgent: Did I Kill My Goldfish?

I have a 55 gallon with two young fancies. Today I was doing a 30% water change using my python water change system. When I was filling up the tank, it took me a minute to realize that I had forgotten to add dechlorinator. I immediately turned off the flow, and added double the amount of dechlorinator I needed. I then let the tank fill up. After the tank was full I added two capfuls of stabilify, and half a capful of prime. Did I kill the fish?Also, do you think I broke the cycle?

For those who have bred your goldfish, what would one need to breed theirs?

I have a female goldfish and I've entertained the idea of breeding her. Of course I would never do it if I didn't have the right equipment or tank for them, so I'm asking those who have bred theirs. What would one need to breed their goldfish?

Nitrate Levels For Goldfish?

What nitrate level is ideal for goldfish? A lot of sources say that anything above 40 ppm is generally harmful for freshwater fish , and I've seen some say that you should try to keep it under 20.
