Is it just Octane, or is it common for them to COMPLETELY miss their food ALL THE TIME ��
Hes hasnt been moving at all the last 3 days and has refused to eat. I think he is going to die. Any idea what is happening to Brian?

After finding out I was unprepared to keep a betta and had to buy all new equipment, I’m happy to say that neptune now has a forever home! (unless I find a better one)

I’ve been preparing my tank for about 6 months now for a betta. Finally went out and got Stormy and she seems so happy!

Malakai does this all day and night long. Is this normal? I read that glass surfing wasn’t normal but also read that a lot of bettas do this.
Is this a bubble nest or just bubbles that built up under the leaf not from the betta?

Quick synopsis of caresheet:

Minimum tank size is 5 gallons (about 20 liters) for a regular sized betta, and 10 gallons (about 40 liters) for a king/giant betta
Bettas need an adjustable heater and a thermometer to ensure water temperature stays between 78-82°F or about 26-28°C
Bettas need a cycled tank- this requires a filter
Bettas need silk or live plants and hidey holes with no sharp edges.
Bettas have a special organ, the labyrinth organ, allowing them to breathe air. They require constant access to air at the top of the tank.
Bettas will jump- it is best to have a tank with a lid
