To make this brief: I need help figuring out how to stop my tank from clouding up. I have two axolotls in two separate tanks in the same part of the house with the same equipment and chemicals added and similar decorations. One tank keeps clouding up and I can't figure out why. Parameters are fine in both tanks, one just keeps turning milky white. I assumed it was bacteria bloom, but after trying to treat it for months it keeps coming back and i have even tried completely restarting my tank and it keeps coming back. Any advice? I can provide any more information or pictures. Thanks!

Does my Axolotl look stressed? I've heard curled gills is a sign of that, there is a very very low current in the tank as best as I can tell. We have some flimsy fake plants that don't move or whish around. We just adopted him yesterday and I want to be sure he's doing okay.

Hello! I've been really interested in getting an axolotl as a pet, and just started cycling my tank two days ago to get one. I've done a lot of research on them but still want to make sure it has a great life with me. Is there anything I should know as a new owner?

I found snails :(

This morning I found baby snails in my axolotl tank. It's been quite a while since I bought plants but it must have been from my hornwort I bought. Before I even found the snails I took the hornwort out because he kept eating it and I didn't want the spikes hurting him. Basically I'm asking how do I go about getting rid of the snails?
