- Read somewhere mystery snails sleep during the day, is this what’s happening?? I have a recently hatched clutch in this tank too, so hopefully they are sleeping.
- I noticed my little girl's tendril is bent and curly. Has anyone else experienced this with their mystery snails? Will this be a problem for her as she grows?
- Mystery snail fell out of the tank
- So my mystery snails laid two clutches of eggs! Is it possible for me to move them safely to another tank? My current tank isn't big enough to support all of them and I don't want my crayfish to eat them.

Questions about egg shells for calcium Posted: 22 Jun 2021 08:04 PM PDT So I was thinking of giving my snail some egg shell to help with his shell, but I have some questions.

Mystery snail fell out of the tank Posted: 22 Jun 2021 08:38 AM PDT I have four mystery snails in a 20 gallon tank, and neon tetras. My snails have been doing very well, thriving lately, and I've had no issues. But today when I did my water change I found one of my snails on the ground maybe 2-3 feet from the tank to the ground. He was pulled way up into his shell and when I touched his trap door to see if he was responsive and he was. I put him back in the tank but he hasn't come out. Is he just in shock? Is he going to survive? [link] [comments] | ||

Snail safe parasite treatment? Posted: 22 Jun 2021 12:24 PM PDT One of my minnows has some sort of worm infection characterized by a blotated abdomen—generally normal behavior. Online I see recommendations for Levamisole, but I also see warnings that it may be dangerous for mystery snails (I have 2). Obviously I want to help the poor guy, and treat the whole tank for any lingering traces, but I don't want to do so at the expense of my snails. I also asked at a LFS about a cure, and they recommended me a product that specifically said "not recommended for invertebrates" on the back. [link] [comments] |
