Trimming some plants and pulled out this monstrosity of Amazon Frogbit

Just finished this 6 gallon cube. Gonna add some shrimp after it cycles. Plants will be buce and some type of moss not sure. Something that spreads out and doesn’t grow up if that makes sense. The buce will be a small leafed variety and I’ll use those as a carpet

Bought a used, beautiful 59 gallon and the owner was awesome enough to leave the plants, substrate, and stones. Can anyone help me identify the plants? Relatively new to planted, and feel like I just inherited a Bentley.

I know it's probably a trash aquascape, but here's my betta Spook's tank.

I always envy people on this sub because I feel like my tank is the worst looking here (not even joking). Any slight potential that it will look decent in a few months?

Our outdoor 'tank'.. (about 6 months young)

I have been experimenting for a few years and I think my favorite kind of tank is a Walstad with a still water loving species like beta. There is peace and serenity in the balance that the tank creates.

Collect plants out of local lake for aquarium?

Posted: 22 Apr 2021 07:24 PM PDT

I was at the lake yesterday and saw the coolest looking plant there. I really wanted to collect a few stems and possibly add it to my tank. Is that something you can do, should do? How would you go about it?

My betta died last month, and his former 10g home has been taken over by the shrimp.
