I started my first planted tank 1 month ago. I've definitely changed it a lot since then, but I'm really starting to love it.

Is this new Zebra mussel - Marimo moss problem going to end up affecting other live aquarium plant sales as well?

I'm only casually into keeping a planted tank, so I'm not familiar with how plants are grown, transported, or stored aside from what I see at my local fish store. Are we going to find that the moss balls are propagated with shared water systems with other plant propagation and therefore all new plants are at risk? Or at least more plants than just the moss balls? When I bought moss balls years ago, I believe they were in the same tank in a pet store with other aquarium plants, not in individual cups as I'm seeing on reddit posts now. Could these recalls potentially be expanded to more aquatic plants soon? I'm hoping someone with knowledge of the industry can give some insight here.

Have hair algae? Endler’s apparently are an excellent solution.

Plants are starting to fill in nicely, slowly but surely. Tank is almost 4 months in.
