10 gallon tank ideas?

Posted: 14 Mar 2021 05:36 PM PDT

I just got a 10 gallon tank on a whim, and am not sure what to put in it! I've got 2 mysteries and a nerite now, currently in a 5 gallon tank with my betta, that I anticipate moving in to the larger tank. I'm super new to the aquarium world and would love some stocking suggestion! I love the playful aspects of the mystery snails, and the fancy fins and colors of bettas, so I'd love to find fish with similar characteristics. I've been looking at gouramis, endlers, tetras, and dwarf corys, but I'm open to any other suggestions! I've only ever had bettas and snails, so beginner-friendly suggestions are appreciated

A new tank (HELP!)

Posted: 14 Mar 2021 08:19 PM PDT

Hi! So I'm planning on getting a 6 gallon freshwater tank, I'm new to this and I really want to do it right! I really want a betta fish, however I've heard they can be aggressive to other fish especially the males. I was wondering if anyone could help me with some ideas of what might be a good idea to put in with it once I've got everything sorted? And how many would be good as I'm worried about having schools and over crowding the tank! Thanks
