Goldfish Can't Find Food?

Posted: 20 Mar 2021 03:04 PM PDT

Hi all! I just got 2 comets yesterday. They are in a 10 gallon tank that I set up a few days before. They're active and appear to be in good health, but one of them won't eat :(
I see it foraging so it seems like it's hungry, but it goes around the flakes. I called the store and they assured me that this is the same food they eat there, so I'm not sure what the issue is.
The other one (much smaller) is an expert- it can grab food as it floats down and seems to be a pro at foraging.
How can I help the one that's struggling?
I 'm brand new to goldfish so any guidance is appreciated! Thank you in advance!

I’ve tried fasting, bloodworms, algae wafers and tiny sinking pellets, but my poor Jumbo always gets swim bladder. Does anyone have any tips on how to alleviate it?

Anal fin growing back later?? Help please

Posted: 20 Mar 2021 11:54 AM PDT

Hi. I ordered a "show quality" oranda from Goldfish Island for a cool $250 and later noticed the tail was asymmetrical and there was only one anal fin. GI support is saying it will "grow back." Is that even possible? I'm still new to fancies so any help is appreciated.

Will keeping my stone air bubbler on during night would make it difficult for the fishes to sleep?
