Is this discoloration normal on a mystery snail? I have 1/4 of a cuttlebone next to the pump. Should I increase it? pH 6.6

Lol! My lazy male nerite (Garu) will NOT stop trying to hitch a ride on my active female (Pucca) •_• pucca literally does all the work around here smh. Garu just eats to survive lmao. Just hoping he isn’t too heavy for her and pulls her shellzzz

Copper sulfate and mystery snails—I need help!

I just found out that the Hikari algae wafers that I have temporarily been feeding my mystery snails has copper sulfate—it's the second to last ingredient on the list so it is probably extremely minimal. Will this be okay to temporarily feed my mystery snails until I can make homemade biscuits for them? (No more than a week from now)

New snail owner, looking for tips

Hello. I purchased a gold mystery snail -- named Straasha -- yesterday for my nano tank. I've been reading up on care and feeding but am looking for tips and other advice.

Background: I have a 2.5gal nano tank with substrate, live plants, driftwood and some rocks. There is a small heater, and a filter with bio media. I have cycled the tank and didn't add the snail until it was cycled. The snail seems good so far, and partial to the driftwood. Tank dimensions are about 12.5"Lx6.25"Wx8.5"H.

Update: I am aware of how big mystery snails can get, and am planning on a larger tank later in the year. Or I will find a new home for the snail if necessary.

I've just returned from a shopping trip where I purchased a Dr. Turtle Slow Release Calcium Block. I'm assuming it's too big for my tank. It's .5oz and about 2"x3" -- how big of a piece should I put in?

I also bought a small jar of each Omega One Shrimp Pellets and XTreme Aquatic foods Cat Scrapers. I'd originally bought a bag of Hikari mini algae wafers, but my daughter checked the ingredient list and noted the copper sulfate in the list, so I returned it. I've dropped in one of the shrimp pellets. For the Cat Scrapers, would half a pellet do?

How often should I drop in a pellet?

How do I make sure veggie pieces sink down for the snail? How big should those pieces be? Small I know, but -- diced?

Can I blanche and then freeze some veggies, and feed that after they thaw?

Any sites/pages recommended for snail care would be appreciated.

I posted about this mystwry snail a while ago, she was in pretty bad shape when I got her and now she's recovering, her shell is looking really good. I noticed she has a problem in one of er tentacles, you know if there is anything I can do?
