Wanted to spread this around-I suspect a lot of alive nerites get inadvertently thrown out. Houdini seemed very, very dead. But he is totally fine now.

My snails shell growth since adopting him.. is this good or bad? Planning on adding a piece of cuttlebone soon, as I can see his shell seems to have some cracks

Assassin snail

I bought an assassin snail from Petco, he seemed alright, but since then it's been 3 almost 4 days in the tank (20 gallon) and has not moved whatsoever. I've taken him out multiple times, smelled him, his body isn't hanging out, and he reacts to being picked up. But he doesn't do anything! I got him to help clear out a bladder snail infestation but as far as I can tell nothing has happened and I'm just confused. What can I do? Parameters are: 20 gal, heated at 78 degrees, large filter, 1 betta, 8 albino Cory cats, 1 rather large nerite, bladder snails. Ammonia is 0, nitrite is 0, nitrate is anywhere from 5-40 ppm, water changes every week and a half to 2 weeks, no decorations besides a coconut house, driftwood, rocks, and plants

Hi all. My lovely friend is giving me some bladder snails. How do I control the population without killing them? Like for example if u have land snails, nematodes will eat the snail eggs so you're not killing them. Also I know nothing about their care so plz help!

Moving Apple Snail tank to tank

I have an Apple snail in one tank. I have a larger tank I would like to put him in and clean for a week or so then put him back in his original tank. Is this ok for him or would be too much stress? I would acclimate him to the tank water each time instead of plopping him straight in.
