• New arrival ! Galaxy Tiger Shrimp, they're quite big
• Just a casual stampede over peas. Ft. Thibault the betta
• When you're trying to take shrimp pics and your betta and oto decide to photobomb
• First Moult!
• Due to another lockdown I can't go diving �� so I'm practicing macro on my skrimpy mommas!
• Acclimating the new babies.
• Fluffy fluffy fans! (Excuse bowie in the background)
• Definitely not the best tank you'll see today, but I'm proud to finally have one! (No CO2, 8 plant species and 9 ghost shrimp)
• I'm the worst plant trimmer ever, but this is my favorite tank. The shrimp seem to love it too!
• RCS doing what an RCS does. A new addition to Dogfood's playground.
• Guess what is it? ��
• Would you believe, they were both stripped bare within the hour������

Lighting in a Shrimp Tank Posted: 19 Jan 2021 09:08 PM PST Just wondering if anyone here has lights inside their tank. All the screenshots look like they were taken during daylight hours. I am starting a new tank with blue shrimp against black gravel to make their colors pop out. I am wondering what kinds of lights if any would enhance their appearance at night. Why am I waking up to dead shrimp every day? Posted: 20 Jan 2021 12:41 AM PST My nitrates are all zero, my GH is 16, KH is 6, pH is 7.2 and Cl is zero. I drip acclimatised and 3week cycled my tank. Ammonia is in the lower ranges but I don't trust these test strips at this point. Every day my shrimp are dying, I find them with their colour slowly turning from blue to red.
