- I just did my first jarrarium today! I used stuff from my backyard just as a starter. I've seen 3 or 4 of these little white worm things and im just wondering what they are and what they're called. Any help would be appreciated
- Day 3 snails - The water in the jarrarium was from the same aquarium I was given the plants and today snails as a surprise.
- I was told this post would be welcome here, but now I've also read the great jar debate of 2020. So, I ask, what is a vase, a jar, a tank?

| Posted: 08 Nov 2020 09:48 AM PST I'd like a tank made to a specific size, for a terrarium I'm planning to build, but could do with some basic pointers. The dimensions would be roughly 65cm (L) x 35cm (D) x 17cm (H). I would be filling it with water to its full height, and one end would consist of the 'terra' area which would exceed the tank's height to provide dry ground. Would I have to go for a specific glass (type, thickness) ? And are these things secure enough just simply siliconed together, or do I need to do something specific to ensure they don't explode on me once they get the weight of the water in them? Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] | ||

| I just made my first jarrarium. I need some help. Posted: 07 Nov 2020 02:16 AM PST First of all, is it okay if I use a regular lamp to light it up? And second of all, I didn't put any critters in myself, but I saw a couple very small bugs crawling around. Is anything gonna happen involving the "fauna"? [link] [comments] | ||
