- 75 gallon. 3 goldfish. No new fish have been added in the last five months. What caused this? I have one dead, one that looks close to dead, one that looks completely normal.

I obsessively research every day about different creatures and I participate in Reddit's like this so I can learn as much as I can. Today a customer came in to get a Ryukin goldfish to add to his group at home (this one would make 4). He's upgrading them to a 75 gallon tank and I said to him that he's the first customer I've had who has ever asked for goldfish that had an acceptable tank size. This was a true statement but the pain of it didn't set in until I left work. I've had my job for almost a year and in that whole time I've never had someone ask for goldfish who was already doing the right thing for them, that breaks my heart. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Black moor not moving much at the top! Posted: 10 Nov 2020 03:45 PM PST Hello! My small black moor seems to be doing the same thing the last 3-4 days in the evenings after he's fed. He goes to the top and just floats. He moves about occasionally or when I move my finger in front of him, but not much! He's perfectly ok the rest of the day. I was giving him soaked flakes and tried the peas instead as well but still the same. He's co-living with a fantail that seems always cheery and swims a lot. Any ideas?? | Stressed Goldfish :( Please Help! Posted: 10 Nov 2020 08:26 AM PST Hello! I have an oranda goldfish who is about a year old. Last Wednesday his tank started to leak, so I had to move him to a new 25 gal without having time to cycle it. The pH, nitrate, nitrite, carbonate, and ammonia levels are normal, as well as the temperature in his tank, but he still seems stressed. For about 40% of the day he glass surfs and swims aggressively at the front of the tank, and I just don't know what more I can do to help him. Should I do a water change this week? Is there something I'm doing wrong? He is my first goldfish and I love him so much, any help would be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments]  |
