• Can someone help me identify this axolotl please. The reason I took him and put him in this tank is number 1 he is really small and looks like an axolotl. 2 the water is ice cold and fresh water not brackish. And 3 we are near no oceans or anything!

• Been wondering if anyone has any idea why my axolotl has a stubby toe? I’ve had him since he was a really tiny guy and his toe has always been stubby, never injured or grown bigger. Any ideas axolotl friends? His other feet and toes are normal

• What is the white spot on her gill and should I be worried?

Tank not yet cycled Posted: 15 Nov 2020 06:34 PM PST I bought my first axie and my Seachem ammonia and ph monitor said my tank was ready. Then when I bought my little one I decided to get the big, full test kit just to make sure and come to find out my PH is a little high, no nitrates, and ammonia 0.25ppm. So my little one resides in her bag until I decide whast to do. What is going to be less stressful for her? Advice Wanted Posted: 15 Nov 2020 07:50 PM PST Just switched my Axolotl's from Nightcrawlers to Red Wrigglers due to cost efficiency. i've noticed that minutes after feeding they are regurgitating the worms. I believe it's because they are live and moving whereas i used to cut the earthworms down to bite size so they moved less. The wrigglers are very small but very active.
