Oscar fish and koi
My dad isn't the smartest and he slam dunked a koi dam without proper research. Everyday a couple more turn or dead. What do you guys think the most common cause of death is in a pool like this.
Bought a house: guess I’m a koi owner now! Winter is coming and I’m wondering how to keep my koi alive through a Southwest VA winter. I’ve read up on aerating the water, but need more help please!
New to koi. Please help

I have a heated pond in an area that never gets below 50°f and I was thinking about adding a small Oscar to the 4 5" koi already stocked. I have kept a few oscars over the years and have had pretty calm fish that weren't very aggressive toward tankmates. However, I realize they can be aggressive and I don't want to harm the koi.

Does anyone have experience with oscars living aside koi?
