Did I get the wrong product for shrimp GH KH Aquavitro Carbonate Posted: 10 Oct 2020 12:21 AM PDT Im new to shrimp and had asked at the store which product to get to raise the gh kh for my tank. Here in Portland the tap water is extremely soft. I was directed to "the white bottles" and this one seemed right based on my limited knowledge. I figured I knew what I was doing and they were busy bagging my shrimp. Someone else rang me up,but I ended up with aquavitro carbonate. I now see they may have been out of exo at the time. Is this useful to me in a planted shrimp tank? Will it get the job done, should I make it part of my setup, or am I back where I started? I may have gotten in over my head. fwiw I already added 3ml to my 10gal in a 25% water change on a very slow drip and while I did see a small increase in gh and kh and oh those have all lowered back down.
