If you have an interesting or unique question please create a new thread so everyone can discuss it in length! These are some great resources for ID's of pests/algae. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 16 Oct 2020 04:26 PM PDT Hi, I just figured out why my red bubble tip anemone wasn't doing good. It was fine before I changed the rock work and the salinity went down. Then it looked really bad and I upped the salinity and it looked better. I new it still wasn't good so I planned on moving it to a glass cup on the side of the tank because I figured it was starving. Low light + not enough feeding. This morning it was tiny. Smaller then ever. I managed to get it off the rock and move it to a glass cup, it was still sticking so I figured it was a good sign. I wiggled it slowly off with my finger to make sure i wouldn't damage the foot. However the color is not gone and it's not loosing tentacles but it won't mount on the glass and the center part is loosing white stringy stuff. I'm worried it's dead but it still has its green and red combination but it looks bad. Thoughts? I don't want it to kill my whole tank. It's never lost center mass like this. [link] [comments] |
