Tips on propagating planted tank into jarrarium when dealing with potential hitch hikers? Posted: 17 Oct 2020 09:59 AM PDT My planted tank needs a haircut! I want to propogate it to create a jarrarium with no heater/filter. However, my planted tank has tons of orange sakura shrimp and ramshorn snails; there will undoubtedly be hitchhikers. Would a heaterless, filterless jarrarium be safe for invertebrates? Is it inhumane? What is the minimum size I need if there is the potential of hitch hikers? Keep in mind, I'm not looking to start another tank with live animals, I'm just recognizing that it's almost inevitable when propagating. [link] [comments] |
