thai oranda growth *so far*

so i got this fish in august from KingKoi goldfish, i named her Betty (swifties wya lmao). i started off a bit unprepared in terms of tank size & materials but i got that sorted out relatively quickly, and she's been growing quite a bit. her tail is starting to branch off in different colors now which is super cute and fun (:

top pics are from august 12th, bottom pics are from october 18th (':

Took water to petco and had it tested, everything is normal. No changes to environment or anything else.

Can anyone help identifying what this bubble looking growth is on one of my pond goldies? It doesn’t seem to have anything wrong with its health (just this strange growth)

Sitting at Bottom/Not Eating - Constipation or Something Else?

Sitting at Bottom/Not Eating - Constipation or Something Else?

My goldfish, Darla, hasn't eat since Saturday (last 1/4-1/3 water change) and has been sitting at the bottom of the tank since. I'm pretty sure she hasn't pooped since Saturday either. Every once in a while she'll swim around, swim up to the surface and then settles back in her spot. She's normally very active all day and a voracious eater.

From reading around the internet and looking at the wiki I'm leaning towards constipation, but I'm not sure. I went and got some Epsom salt and have dropped in 3/4 teaspoon total for the 30gal tank. I also got Kosher salt, but it was only after purchasing and coming home that I noticed there's an anti-caking agent also in it, so I'll have to get a different one tomorrow. I noticed today (which you should be able to see in the vid/pics) there's white stuff above her eyes on her "forehead" and she's "gulping" a lot, so now I'm not sure if she's infected or there's not enough oxygen or something :(

I've had Darla for about 2.5 years, close to 3. I have no idea about the actual age as she was given to me. Currently in a 30gal tank as mentioned. It's the kind where there's the three divided sections behind the main tank with one being the filter sponge, the next the media and then the pump to cycle back. Routine is always the same. Generally feed her flakes every two days based on local fish store and their recommendation and she usually goes right at it. Usually feed one flake at a time over several minutes. Tank goes through a 1/4-1/3 water change every two weeks at which point the filter sponge is cleaned and every 3rd water change the filter media (charcoal pellets) is replaced. Temp usually stays at a constant of 78F, but can drop down to 75/76F at times. There's a heater in there that makes sure it doesn't get too cold.

I've never tested the water quality before (I know, I'm terrible), but she's been a breeze to take care of until this. However, I've ordered and am waiting for a complete water testing kit and a UV light.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated! I'm really starting to get very concerned. Thank you!!!

Fish Behavior

One of my fish spends a lot of time breathing at the top of my tank. It's just him and he's been doing it for a while now. I recently separated him from the tank because he was being a little aggressive and he stopped breathing up top. Why is he the only one breathing on top of the tank?
