my partner and I are looking to rehome an Axolotl, we’ve cycled the tank and all our levels are ready to go. the place we’re rehoming from has just sent us this picture of the adult axie we were talking about adopting. to me, he doesn’t look very healthy, can anybody provide any insight? thank you!

Day 8 (night) and 3 of the eggs just hatched. But then motionless. Is this normal? I can see several flipping in their eggs, too.

Floating plants for axolotl tank

Posted: 13 Oct 2020 08:15 AM PDT

Hey guys! I have a 40g tank with mostly just lava rock and driftwood, but no substrate. It has a lot of algae growing on the driftwood, and I'm thinking adding some plants to help with that. What are some good floating plants to use in an axolotl tank to help absorb some of the extra nutrients? Thanks!
