So I've been researching and thinking about getting an Axolotl or 2 for a few months now and I know the basics like tank size, water temp and pH levels but I want more advice to be 100% sure on how to care for it and stuff like where are good axolotl breeders in the UK? I'm gonna order a 24 gallon or 112 litre tank of amazon and I want to know what coolers and filters to use and how to decorate and clean the tank

We are first time axolotl owners (we've owned many pets before so we do our research though) and we've been worried about him because he has been slowing down.

Today we had an axolotl expert (not quite an expert but much better than us and pretty close to it) look at dyson and he said he has a bad bacterial infection.

We're doing our best to help him, we're doing extensive tank cleaning every day (don't worry we're not scaring or hurting him) and we're really hoping he'll get better.

Wish Dyson and us some luck!

Edit : we have some pictures too, but im new to reddit and am not quite sure how to hav pictures and text in the same post

I ordered a juvenile axolotl and she just came in a couple of days ago. I'm very happy to have her! But I'm concerned because so far she's refused any food I try to give her. I usually tong feed my axolotls, so I'm not sure if that's the problem (like she doesn't want to take food from tongs) or if she's a picky eater and doesn't like to food I've tried to feed her (mostly wax worms) or if she's still acclimating to her new environment.

Do you guys have any suggestions?
