Bladder snail working on an Aponogeton Capuronii, cleaning the some stuffs that I missed while cleaning the tank. Hehe

Just seen this itty bitty guy on the glass, and was wondering if this would be another bladder snail? And if it is, what that white stuff or opaque stuff is on its back? Is there such a thing as newly hatched bladder snails carrying around yolks?

seeing how much they’ve grown is so amazing! their shells are getting thicker and brighter, and they’re growing slowly but surely. i didn’t think i would love them this much, and yet i’m already planning on giving them their own tank!

Assasin snail not assassinating? He's been lying in the sand for 3 days now, I got him coz of hitchhiked snail explosion in my tank. Dropped this little guy right on to the sand but nope. Should I just leave him alone to do his thing?

How long will mystery snails survive in sulfur water?

Posted: 12 Oct 2020 08:14 PM PDT

Just discovered it tonight at six, but the pet store I go to that helps already closed. They helped me set up my tank and check water levels and such, which tomorrow after school I'm gunna head there. I have seven snails I my tank, three adults and four babies. Will they survive a day in the sulfur water until I'm able to fix it?

One of my mystery snails keeps flipping himself over

Posted: 12 Oct 2020 11:16 AM PDT

One of my 5 mystery snails keeps ending up on its side or back and stays there until I flip him back right side down, then he will come out of his shell a little then moves just a bit and ends up back on his side or back until I help him again. He doesn't move at all or very far before flipping over again. None of my other snails are doing this. He has been doing this for about a week and I have to flip him back 2-3 times a day. He won't move/try to move until I put him back the right way but then like I said he just does it over again. A couple weeks ago he was fine and cruised everything with no problems

Accidental Nerite Babies! Need help

Posted: 12 Oct 2020 04:12 PM PDT

I went on a two week vacation and left my fully planted, 5 gal tank with a beta, nerite, and amano with a friend with almost no experience taking care of anything aquatic. I came home and the tank was a mess. I cleaned it up and found two little nerite babies! I haven't seen any eggs, nor have I found any more snails.

My question is, should I move them out and into a brackish tank? I don't have any more tank supplies beyond the tank I have set up, but was planning on getting another tank soon anyways. I know they require brackish tanks to reproduce, so I'm shocked that I found two babies!

I haven't bought any plants or other things in months, so there's no way they were hitchhikers.

Any suggestions on how to keep them alive? They're super cute and I want to make sure they survive and are as happy as possible

Snails shell looking chipped/cracked

Posted: 12 Oct 2020 11:14 AM PDT

I have a nerite snail and the shell is getting a bit cracked/looking unhealthy. I know you are supposed to feed them something with calcium but I never see him out of the cave unless he is escaping the tank. My mystery snail eats bottom feeder tablets and lettuce but the nerite snail never does. There is a lot of algae in my tank as food brown and more recently green. What should I do?

This bladder snail apparently loves ham, even though it's 50 times the size of him. Haha
