New aquatic snail owner, please help!

Hi! I have a pet betta fish who I have had since August 2016. I felt that he needed some tank mates and after doing some research, I ended up going to a local pet shop and picked up a "golden inca snail" and an "ivory mystery snail" yesterday. Here's where I'm a little confused and would like some help:

The Ivory mystery snail seemed like he was adjusting fine (I floated the bag for an hour and then placed them in the tank with the lights off all day/night and went to look at them a few hours ago). When I went to look at them a few hours ago, he was floating at the top of the water. I tested the water quality and everything seems to be normal (amonium and nitrite 0, nitrate about 30, PH 7.2). I did more research and found that mystery snails could have air in their lungs and that could cause the snail to float?

I'm really nervous and sad because I care for all my animals and don't know if he is dead or if I chose a snail that's really sick.... What's a good way to choose a healthy and young snail from a shop? And do you think that this snail is dead? TIA

(First pic was 2 weeks ago, second was today) I don’t know what to do! I put a dime sized piece of cuttlebone when I took that picture, and put another one a week later bc I accidentally sucked it up while doing a water change and it just keeps getting worse. Should I try snello?

Mystery snail might be sick HELP ASAP!

Last night my mystery snail was on the tank floor all night. It would move its antennae occasionally and his breathing tube would like out. This morning he was on the glass near the top. I looked closer and realized only one side was sticking to the glass. There was a trail of bubbles leading from him to the top of the tank. There might be white-ish discharge coming from him (its whispy and white and 'floats'). I got called into work early and couldn't give him much attention this morning.

This it nitro my black racer he shares a 5-10 gallon tank w/ 3 tetras and 6 guppies and one black mystery snail and one golden mystery snail. Whenever I look for him he’s always hidden behind a rock or in his little house.(the rest will be in comments)
