PLEASE HELP I have what i think is a pond snail, and today it looks like it has a weird red mass coming out of him, idk if it’s his mouth swollen or what. The first and second picture are today today and the third from about a week ago. Any advice is appreciated.

Is this a mystery snail? I haven’t added anything new to my tank in months and all of a sudden this small snail appears. It’s about the size of a pond snail, but doesn’t look like any “pest” snails I know of.

What to expect when my assassin snails are expecting?

Okay so let me start by saying I am a total noob mom for aquatic creatures. We decided to start a shrimp tank and got a 10 galleon tank cycling with some moneywort and ferns. A couple of days later we noticed a few snails and they were eating up our moneywort like no tomorrow. Under the recommendations of the breeder I was going to get some red cherry shrimps from, we got THREE assassin snails from him about five days ago. As I am getting worried if they will survive in my new tank (with water I wasn't sure was done cycling yet or not), turns out they were doing pretty well in this new environment themselves. I read that it's be the difficult to tell the sex of the snails so I figured they could all be girls or boys for all I know...

Today on my fern leaves I spotted a few snail eggs, with one of the assassin snails nearby. I have no idea what to do... in fact I have no idea what to even feed the snails (I have been sprinkling some shrimp flakes I got in the tank while they're moving around the tank)...

How long does the assassin snails eggs take to hatch?

How often should I change water?

What should I look out for?

Just in general any tips and advice would be appreciated. One last trivial question, does people want to purchase these assassin snails? I don't think a 10 galleon tank is suitable for too many snails so I don't know what to do with the baby snails if they hatch successfully.

Hi all! How do you avoid over feeding your shrimp if you need to feed your snails every day? I have some snails with my shrimp and I feel like I'm either over feeding my shrimp or under feeding my snails

I have a 29 gallon tank with a shoal of corys who absolutely love to eat the snailo I put in. The snails seem to ignore it and the corys eat all of it. Does anyone have a suggestion for what would entice the snails to eat them or something that the corys would focus on over the snailo?
