Repainting my room, any toxicity concerns for goldfish?

Posted: 26 Sep 2020 07:49 AM PDT

I have a 55 gallon tank with some fancy goldfish in it, been established for about 5 or 6 years. I'm thinking about repainting my room and my mom brought up that there's a concern of toxicity for the fish during the repainting process. Obviously I'm not dumping paint into the aquarium, and I don't think it's going to be a huge issue, but I wanted to double-check with you guys. Do you see this being a problem?
