I'm 17 and am getting my reef tank in 2 weeks (a little birthday gift from me to me for my 18th lol), and am looking for any tips/tricks the reefing community has to offer :) I'm going to be getting a prostar 60 tank, which has a display tank of 45g (24x20x22), and a 15g sump. I've kept freshwater tanks since I was 12, but I've never had a tank with a sump, so I was wondering what everyone has in theirs? I'm looking at getting the bubble mag 5 skimmer, and have ordered marinepure biofilter media balls. I have also bought 2 ai prime HD lights, and am wondering (if anyone has them) what settings I should set them at. I'd like to be able to have a mixed reef.

Kessil a80 vs Fluval marine 3.0 Nano

I know it sounds weird but which light is better? Is wattage that important? I have a 24 gallon cube mixed reef. I have the kessil on my tank at the moment but i do own the fluval. Any advice?
