Not too bad for a low tech tank with plain gravel, if I do say so myself.

Struggling with hair algae in my high tech tank, looking for advice

Posted: 09 Aug 2020 12:49 AM PDT

I am struggling with green hair algae in my 60 gallon high tech planted tank and am looking for some advice to get things back under control. It's a 60 gal tank with a CO2 controller, pH set at 6.4-6.5, kH 1.5. Will test the water again tomorrow and update but everything was in range when I recently checked. I have a satellite current USA planted+ led light. Fertilizer is just root tabs in Caribsea eco complete substrate. I'm so far I have reduced feedings, reduced the light hours, increased water changes to every other day, bought Siamese algae eaters along with Otos, nerites, and Amano shrimp. Everyday this algae grows what's seems like a foot across the tank so I've been manually trying to remove it too. Open to suggestions. Tank has been set up for 3.5 months and is cycled. Using two eheim 350 canister filters with inline heater and inline CO2 diffuser.

Changed up the landscape on my Eheim 9G. Any positive critique is welcome.
