Went to Petco because I heard they had cheap plants. Found two tanks full of plants and asked how much. The associate didn't know but said 12.99 for each tank! All in all I got 40 plants, decent size lava rock, and three moss balls for 70 dollars!

I got new cherry shrimp yesterday and after a few hours I saw a dead one. I put him in the closest container I had. I had an air stone at the end of a syringe pumping in O2. I just left the mug there. I go by to dump it in the toilet, and the little guy made a full recovery!

WHAT is happening with my dirted tank?

Posted: 01 Aug 2020 11:19 PM PDT

A new beginning! It's not much yet and the wood might dominate the tank but I hope it grows into something very pretty.
