slowly upgrading my planted tank! (his name is Haku)
I just got him 2 days ago and he’s already made a bubble nest. I guess he likes his new home!
Was a perfect day to be sitting in the garden and photographing fish in the natural sunlight and managed to catch this guy in his full flare. (He's a wild type hybrid imbellis)

My betta is been acting kinda strange. He’s normally a very active fish but lately he’s been kinda weak. He’s eating normally but he’s not swimming that much. Any Thoughts?

Betta in shrimp community tank

I successfully introduced my boy into the shrimp tank. (8 cherry shrimps, 2 Astronaut kuhli and 3 otocinclus) He's so curious about EVERYTHING in it. Especially the kuhlis, it's like he's wondering what are those, ginormous bloodworms and yes, he tried biting them. I was afraid that he's gonna have a shrimp feast like last time (Long story). But, he just chased everyone in it and subsequently after that, he would swim close to them and just look. It's like the initial chase was an introduction of himself. I'm just happy that he have a bigger space and is stimulated by his friends in the tank.
