I had someone look after my axolotl for a Month and I came back to him in absolutely horrible shape his tank mates taken bites out of him so it looks like they haven't eaten in awhile. I can't get him to eat anything but his tank mate seems to be fine. I've but him in a salt bath but I'm not sure what else to do.

My axolotl is out growing their hides and I would like to get larger ones with more wiggle room. What would you guys recommend for hides?

I know flower pots can be used, But what do I need to watch out for and what type of pots can be used?

I'm looking for advice please! My 1 year old male axolotl, Onyx has what looks to be a prolapsed cloacal, last night I noticed it was very swollen and looked almost split open, this morning I attempted to feed him a cut up Dendrobaena (earthworm) and he started throwing up/ opening his mouth wide till a tiny bit of worm came up (last fed 3 days ago) so I decided against feeding him today and have been watching him very closely. I just went to check on him and noticed what looks to be a prolapse, Im so worried, he has never been ill to my knowledge before and theres no vet in my area that would know anything about axolotls (my parents are vets and have no clue) The water is fine, I check weekly and this morning everything was fine. Hes been really active today, walking around the floor of his tank, swimming and some floating on the top, hes currently sat on the filter, which he occasionally does.
