I recently found out my axolotl is a girl not a boy. Recently she had been swimming back and forth and up to the top of the tank. Is this normal girl behavior or is her water not right? Her tank temp is 68 and I'm trying to lower it as we speak. I also feed her two worms a day, is this too much or not enough. But I have been slacking on care the past two days cause I am sick with pneumonia and was in the hospital. Is that another thing I should worry about, feeding her while I'm sick? Please help I don't want her to fall ill.

Fan question

I recently purchased an aquarium fan. I have one of the black rimmed tanks, so it's sitting on top of the tank. I'm curious about the surface level water movement. I ran it on low setting all night and got the tank down to 68 degrees F. I'm running it on high right now. It seems to cause a lot of disturbance at the surface level.

Will this be OK for my axolotol? Will it cause too much stress with the water movement. I should also mention that I have a 20 gallon long aquarium.
